Welcome to my blog! I decided to start a blog for new teachers because I just completed my first year of teaching in May and I have a lot to say! I’d like to share my thoughts and ideas about my first year while they are still fresh in my mind. I felt that a lot of veteran teachers wanted to help me out….but didn’t quite remember what it was like to be in their first year and ended up stressing me out more!

Hopefully by reading my blog you will have an easier start to your career than I did. My first year could have been much worse, but it could have been a lot easier if I had only known what I know now! So, my first piece of advice….get A LOT of sleep!!
